Hanah Kahai Godia

We are saddened to announce the untimely death of our beloved daughter Hanah Kahai Godia which occurred in Louisville, Kentucky on November 27, 2022.

 She was the beloved daughter to Edward Godia and Esther Godia of Urbana, Illinois. Sister to Stanely Godia, Felix Godia and Joan Godia. Sister-in-law to Jasmine Godia. Niece to the late Ambassador Professor George Godia, Dr Pamela Godia of Nairobi, Kenya, Violet Ibarasa and Boaz Ibarasa of New Jersey, Dr Jean Kidula of Georgia, Pamela Kulubi, and Fanuel Kenyatta of Nairobi, Kenya, Martha Lusigi, Kenya, Linnet Lugaye, Aggrey Kavulavu among others. 

 Cousins to Doreen Godia of Texas, Dr Anne Lutomia of Indiana, Oliver Kidiavai of Algiers, Algeria, Mathew Godia, of Nairobi, Michael Godia of Nairobi Kenya among others. 

 There will be visitation at Faith Church, 2111 N Willow Rd, Urbana, IL on December 9th 2022, 10am-11am, with a funeral  service 11am, and burial thereafter at Woodlawn Cemetery in Urbana, IL.
