Gary Muse, Jr. Obituary
Gary N. JR Muse, Jr., 29, of Urbana, passed away at 1:50 AM, Saturday, January 16, 2010.
Funeral service will be held at 10:00 AM, Wednesday, January 20, 2010 at the Mackey-Wright Funeral Home with Rev. Allan Oman officiating. Visitation will be held from 6:00-8:00 PM, Tuesday, January 19, 2010 at the Mackey-Wright Funeral Home. Interment will be in Monticello Township Cemetery.
Jr was born October 1, 1980 in Champaign, the son of Gary N. and Katherine Jo (Skelton) Muse.
Surviving are his parents; Gary (Phyllis) Muse of Cisco, brothers and sister; Jeff Muse of Sidney, Charles Day of Sidney, Shannon (Doug) Taylor of Monticello, and A.J. Day (Tonya) of Monticello, step-brother and step-sister; Tony Vannote of Monticello and Connie (Jim) Walsh of Cerro Gordo, grandparents; Arthur and Audrey Skelton of Savoy, grandmother Helen Muse of Monticello, 8 nieces and 2 nephews. Jr was preceded in death by his mother and grandfather (John Muse).
Jr was employed as a drill rig operator for Midwest Engineering and Testing. He enjoyed country music, motorcycles, farm equipment, playing pool and helping elderly people. Jr will also be remembered as being a wonderful and loving uncle to his nieces and nephews.
Memorials may be made to the Piatt County Trailblazers or donors choice.
