Frances Jordan Obituary
Frances E. Jordan, age 88, of Monticello, passed away Thursday, June 7, 2007, at Piatt County Nursing Home in Monticello.
Graveside service will be held at 2:00 P.M., Sunday, June 10, 2007 at the Monticello Township Cemetery with Rev. Michael Eischen officiating. Mackey-Wright Funeral Home is handling arrangements.
Mrs. Jordan was born November 14, 1918 in Piatt County, the daughter of Preston and Mary (Young) Lange. She married Edward Jordan on January 17, 1941 in Monticello.
He passed away on March 15, 1985
Surviving are her sons: Bruce (Linda) Jordan of Monticello, James (Donna) Jordan of Decatur, Thomas Tuck Jordan of Monticello, Dan (Debbie) Jordan of Urbana, and Harold (Norma) Jordan of Goldsboro, NC; Brother: Dale (Joan) Lange of Joliet; 7 Grandchildren and 7 Great Grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her Parents, Husband, 1 Son, 2 Grandchildren, 2 Brothers, and 1 Sister
Mrs. Jordan was a State and Federal Meat Inspector at the Camp Creek Duck Farm. She was a member of the Monticello United Methodist Church
Memorial contributions may be made to the Piatt County Nursing Home Alzheimers Unit.
