Flossie Roberts Obituary
Flossie B. Roberts, age 99, of Monticello, passed away at 9:00 PM on Friday, June 1, 2007, at Piatt County Nursing Home in Monticello.
Visitation was held Monday, June 4, 2007 at the Chapel of Lake Cumberland Funeral Home in Somerset, KY. A graveside service was held Tuesday, June 5, at Lakeside Memorial Gardens in Somerset, KY.
Mrs. Roberts was born December 6, 1908 in Faubush, KY the daughter of Welby and Nannie (Burkett) Cain. She married Leonard Roberts on March 1, 1925. He passed away August 12, 1944.
Surviving is her son: Wayneth (Marlene) Roberts of White Heath; Sister: Helen Bradley of Lexington, KY; son-in-laws: Herman Ard of Hammond, and Virthel Taylor of Somerset, KY; 6 Grandchildren 12 Great Grandchildren and 12 Great Great Grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her Parents, Husband, 4 Daughters (Sylvia Taylor, KY; Lorene Ard, Hammond; two infants (Pauline and Gertrude) 2 Brothers, 1 Sister and 1 Grandson
Mrs. Roberts retired from Sterling Drug in Monticello after 26 years.
