Fernando S. Perez, Sr

Fernando S. Perez, 68, of Chicago, much loved son, brother, father, and grandfather, passed away in the early morning hours of August 21, 2022 and he will be greatly missed. 

He was preceded in death by his father Salomon, and his brothers, Pepe & Miguel.

Fernando is survived by his mother Carmen Perez and his siblings Salomon, Luz Maria, Beto, Sabas, Mela, Mari, Vicki, Rolando, Tonio, Alex & Pera.

He was the beloved father of Richard (Norma) Perez of Calhoun, GA, Fernando (Crystal) Perez Jr. of Champaign, IL and Joseph Perez, of Calhoun, GA. Proud grandfather of Joseph Jr., Chelsea, Emma, Richard Jr. and Matthew and uncle to many nieces and nephews.

Funeral arrangements are being handled by Owens Funeral Home in Champaign, IL.

A visitation will be held from 10am to 11am at Owens Funeral Home, 101 N. Elm St in Champaign, IL on Friday, August 26th, 2022 with services to follow immediately after.

A private luncheon will be held immediately after the service.
