Ezra Hislope Obituary
Ezra Dock Hislope, age 65 of Monticello, passed away Thursday, December 6, 2007 at his residence.
Memorial service will be held at 11:00 A.M. Monday, December 10, 2007 at the Calvary Baptist Church of Monticello with Rev. Jerry D. Parmley officiating. Visitation will be Sunday, December 9, 2007 from 3:00 to 6:00 P.M. at the Mackey-Wright Funeral Home in Monticello with Masonic services at 6:00 P.M.
Ezra was born September 2, 1942 in Delmar, KY the son of Dock and Clara Alma (Munsey) Hislope. He married Ruth Ann Hill on August 31, 1963 in Monticello. She survives.
Also surviving is his son: Rick (Gayla) Hislope of Monticello and grandchildren Dani Ann, Richie, and Allie.
Ezra was preceded in death by his parents, 3 Brothers and 1 sister.
Ezra was co-owner of Hislope Backhoe Service. He was a member of the Calvary Baptist Church of Monticello, Monticello Masonic Lodge #58 AF & AM, Local Operating Engineers Union #965, Teamster Local #26, and the National Street Rod Association.
Memorials may be made to the Calvary Baptist Church of Monticello Building Fund or Kirby Hospital.
