Ervan Nibling Obituary
Ervan Nibling, age 86, of Monticello, passed away at 3:53 AM, Saturday, April 12, 2008 at his residence.
Funeral service will be held at 10:30 AM Tuesday, April 15, 2008 at the Mackey-Wright Funeral Home with Rev. Steve Ingram and Rev. Jim Dalrymple officiating. Visitation will be Monday, April 14, 2008 5-7 P.M. Interment will be in Monticello Township Cemetery.
Ervan was born April 15, 1921 in Carmi, Illinois the son of Fred and Lema (Botsch) Nibling. He married Freida Harris on February 14, 1940 in Mill Shoals, Illinois. She survives.
Also surviving are his Daughters: Judy Borton of Seymour, Illinois; Jean Reynolds of Seymour, Illinois; and Kay Strader of Champaign, Illinois. Ervan has 9 grandchildren and 8 step grandchildren, and 8 great grand children, and 16 step great grandchildren. He was preceded by his parents, 1 brother, and 2 sisters
Ervan was a retired farmer and enjoyed his family. He was a member of the First Christian Church and the farm bureau.
Memorials may be made to the First Christian Church or Carle Hospice.
