Elnora Duvall Obituary
Elnora Nora Aunt Babe (Clow) Duvall, of Monticello, went home to be with the Lord Saturday, September 8, 2007, from the Bement Health Care Center.
Graveside service will be held at 2:30 P.M., Saturday, September 15, 2007 at the Monticello Township Cemetery with Rev. Mark Smith officiating. Visitation will be from 1:00 2:00 PM, Saturday, September 15, 2007 at the Mackey-Wright Funeral Home.
Nora was daughter to John and Nettie (Fry) Clow of Cisco, IL. She married Stanley H. Duvall on September 15, 1940. Nora, a member of the United Methodist Church of Monticello, worked for 21 years at Kirby Hospital in Monticello as a Licensed Practical Nurse before retiring in July of 1982. She was a homemaker and loving mother to Agnes Nora Wallace of Howell, MI, Paula Sue and Rick Walters of White Heath and Howard R. and Mary Duvall of Monticello. She was a wonderful grandmother to Bridget and Donnie Johnson of Rising Sun, IN, Christine and Bill Phelps of Woodville, WI, Kathleen and Denny Heller of Beardstown, IL, Darren Walters of White Heath, Amanda and Josh Walker of Cahokia, Brian and Erica Duvall of Mahomet, and Karen Duvall of Redbud, IL and great grandmother to Jennifer and Bradley Johnson, Carissa, Hannah and Will Phelps, Kirsten, Sarah, and Rebekah Heller, and Tori and Wade Duvall.
Nora was preceded in death by her parents, husband, three brothers (Charles, John and Kenneth) and one sister (Bernice Wright).
Memorial may be made to Kirby Hospital or Bement Health Care Center.
