Elsie Moefield Baker, 96 of Milmine passed away on 6:45 am Friday, March 16, 2012 at the Piatt County Nursing Home in Monticello, Illinois. She was born August 3, 1915 in Pulaski County, Kentucky, the daughter of Walter and Bannie (Dye) Dye. Elsie survivors include one son, Glenn (Marilyn) Dick of Hammond; eight grandchildren, Mike (Peg) Jenkins of Homer, Sandy (Joe) Kline of Monticello, Lee (Julie) Jenkins of Gibson City, Scott (Lori) Dick of Monticello, Kim (Perry) Sills of Oakley, Rob (Lyn) Dick of Ivesdale, Julie (Scott) Jean of Ivesdale, and John (Leah) Jenkins of Charleston; 21 great-grandchildren; 18 great-great-grandchildren; one sister, Aline Loveless of Kentucky; She was preceded in death by her parents 3 husbands, 4 sisters , 5 brothers, one daughter Bobbie Jenkins and son-in-law, Harvey Jenkins.
Funeral service for Elise will be Monday at 11:00 a.m. at the Mackey-Wright Funeral in Monticello, with Rev. Carlos Lonberger Officiating. Visitation will be 10:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. with interment at the Cerro Gordo Township Cemetery.
