Eileen Vermillion Obituary
Eileen Vermillion, 81, of Monticello, passed away at 8:23 a.m., on May 14, 2012 at the Kirby Medical Center, Monticello.
Funeral service will be held at 11:00 a.m., Thursday, May 17, 2012 at the Mackey-Wright Funeral Home. Visitation will be held from 5:00-8:00 p.m., Wednesday, May 16, 2012 at the Mackey-Wright Funeral Home. Interment will be in Monticello Township Cemetery.
Eileen was born February 3, 1931, in Monticello, the daughter of Randolph Allen and Lila Faye (Montgomery) Hayes.
Surviving are her daughters Susan and Peg both of Monticello, grandsons Caleb Allen Bargon and Gabriel Montgomery Bargon, and a brother William A. Hayes of Monticello. She was preceded in death by her parents and an infant brother.
Eileen worked as an office manager and purchasing agent for the medical supply companies of Americana and Carle Foundation Hospital. Eileen was a member of the Order of the Eastern Star in Gibson City, American Business Women's Association, the Piatt County Genealogical and Historical Society, the Piatt County Museum, and the Central Illinois Tole Artists.
Memorials may be made to the Piatt County Museum.
