Eileen Cook, 90, of Mahomet, died at 4:15 AM, November 17, 2010 at the Meadowbrook Health Center at Clark-Lindsey Village, Urbana.
Private family services at a later date with cremation rites accorded. Mackey-Wright Funeral Home is handling the arrangements.
Eileen was born December 19, 1919 in Panama, IL the daughter of Herbert and Eveline (Knott) Faudi. She married Cecil H. Cook on December 24, 1940 in Taylorville. He died December 16, 1967 in Mahomet.
Survivors include her sons; Pat (Vicki) Cook of Mahomet and E.J. (Barbara) Cook of Mansfield, 3 grandchildren and 3 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, 1 brother, and 1 sister.
Eileen worked for 30 years as a sales manager for Stanley Home Products.
The family wishes to gratefully acknowledge the dignity that was afforded mother at Bridlebrook, the Hospice Passages at Bridlebrook, Meadowbrook Health Center at Clark-Lindsey Village, Carle Hospice, all their staffs, including Dr. Webb, Dr. Palermo, and their staffs.
