Edythe B. Weddle

Edythe B. Weddle, 103 of Monticello, Illinois passed away at 9:15 P.M. Tuesday, August 12, 2008 at the Piatt County Nursing Home in Monticello, Illinois. Funeral services will be at 11:00 A.M. Saturday, August 16, 2008; at the Mackey-Wright Funeral Home with rev. Jim Dalrymple officiating. Visitation will be 10:00 A.M. to time of service. Interment will be at the Monticello Township Cemetery, in Monticello, Illinois. Edythe was born June 12, 1905 in Cisco, Illinois the daughter of Evan and Elizabeth (Primmer) Brame. She married Clifford Weddle on August 15, 1923, in Cisco, Illinois. Surviving is her daughter La Verne Gucker of Annapolis, MD.; 5 grandchildren Douglas Gucker of Cisco, IL. Charles Gucker of Greenville, SC.; Diane Johnson of White Fish, MT.; Dana Weddle of Denver, CO.; and David Weddle of Denver, CO. Edythe was preceded by her parents, husband, 1 son John Maurice Weddle, and 4 brothers. Edythe was a housewife. She was a member of the Eastern Star, North Cisco Birthday club, Cisco Womens Club, and Kirby Hospital Auxiliary, and the First Christian Church Edythe was a Sunday school teacher for 25 years. Memorials may be given to the First Christian Church of Monticello.
