Edward W. Gill

Edward W. Gill, 71, of Mansfield, passed away at 6:20 PM, May 17, 2010 at Provena Hospital, Urbana.
Visitation will be held from 5:00-7:00 PM Thursday, May 20, 2010 at the Mackey-Wright Funeral Home in Monticello. A memorial service will be held at a later date.
Edward was born March 6, 1939 the son of Sylvester Wayne and Leola Adline (Landreth) Gill. He married Lora L. Heckman. She passed away June 21, 2009.
Surviving are his children: Leola Gill and Raymond Gill both of Maine, Donna Gill of Texas, Stewart Gill of Seymour, Stephanie Gill of Champaign, and Derrick Gill of Mansfield, stepson: Chad Henson of Mansfield, 10 grandchildren, 4 step-grandchildren, mother: Leola Gill of Rantoul, brothers: Harold, Donnie, Vernie, Lee, and Dale Gill. Edward was preceded in death by his father, wife, and 1 brother.
Edward was a retired diesel mechanic and served in the U.S. Air Force
