Edna M. Kirk, age 85, of Monticello, passed away Saturday, June 23, 2007, at Piatt County Nursing Home in Monticello.
Private family services are being held. Mackey-Wright Funeral Home is handling the arrangements.
Mrs. Kirk was born June 22, 1922 in Cisco, the daughter of William and Lela (Glenn) Henson. She married Harold F. Kirk on January 19, 1949 in Lawrenceville.
Surviving are her son: Steve Kirk of Carbondale; Daughter: Shannon Cope of Monticello; Granddaughter: Laurel Kirk of Gilberts; Brother: Gene Henson of Oakley; Sister: Betty Woods of Decatur.
He was preceded in death by her parents, husband, 1 brother and 1 sister.
Mrs. Kirk was a homemaker and a member of the Christian Church of Niantic and the First Presbyterian Church of Monticello.
Memorial contributions may be made to the First Presbyterian Church of Monticello.
