Doug Yore

Douglas Yore, 69, who grew up on the south side and southwestern suburbs of Chicago passed away in Champaign Illinois on October 23, 2022. 

Doug was a graduate of St. Ethelreda Grammar School and Stagg High School. He earned a nursing degree from Loyola University prior to enlisting in the Air Force.  

He worked at Carle Hospital for over 20 years, serving his community as a Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist and later as a therapist.  He was the loving father of Misty Martinez, nee Giddens and Megan Yarron and loving grandfather to 5 beautiful granddaughters.  He is survived by his brothers Gregory Yore and William Yore and his sister Vicki Janutis. 

A memorial gathering will be held Friday, March 31, 2023 from 2 to 4 PM, at Owens Funeral Home.
