Donna Turpin

Donna Yvonne Turpin beloved wife, stepmother, daughter, sister, aunt and friend died peacefully after battling cancer on August 3, 2024 at home surrounded by loved ones. 

In accordance with her wishes, she will be cremated, and friends may greet the family from 5:00-7:00pm on Thursday, August 8, at Owens Funeral Home (101 N. Elm St, Champaign) with a Memorial Service to follow at 7:00pm. 

Donna was preceded in death by her younger brother Gregory Bollinger and her beautiful niece Hannah Bollinger.

She is survived by her devoted husband Steve Turpin, her father Mark Bollinger and stepmother Sunki Bollinger, her mother Evelyn Theis and stepfather Herb Theis, her brother Vinnie Bollinger, his wife Cindy, his daughter Tasha, Tasha’s family, five stepchildren, five grandchildren and one great grandchild.

Donna proudly worked for Tommy House Tires for more than 30 years and was a dedicated member of the Stone Creek Church of Urbana, IL. Donna was well known for her wonderful smile and cheerful personality as well as her unwavering dedication to her church, her community, her family, friends and all of her pets past and present.

Donna, you are well loved and will be sorely missed.
