Donald Wolfe Obituary
Donald D. Wolfe, 69, of Monticello, passed away on October 26, 2012 at the Kirby Medical Center, Monticello.
Don was born on October 2, 1943 in Cisco, the son of Dale and Sylvia (Blacker) Wolfe. He married Julie Remmers on June 20, 1970 in Monticello, IL.
Surviving are his wife; Julie Wolfe of Monticello, daughters; Kathy Childers of Cisco and Jocelyn Wolfe of Monticello, 3 grandchildren, brothers; Ron Wolfe of Monticello and Bob Wolfe of Indiana. He was preceded in death by his parents and sister (Kay Evans).
Don was the retired Willow Branch Township Road Commissioner and was a member of the Piatt County Trail Blazers.
A funeral service will be held at 10:00 a.m., Monday, October 29, 2012, at the Mackey-Wright Funeral Home, Monticello with Bob Lane officiating. Visitation will be held from 6:00-8:00 p.m., Sunday, October 28, 2012 at the Mackey-Wright Funeral Home. Interment will be in Croninger Cemetery, Cisco.
Memorials may be made to the Piatt County Trail Blazers or an organization of the Donors Choice.
