David Peterson Obituary
David P. Peterson, 52, of Monticello, passed away at 8:52 AM, Thursday, April 29, 2010 at Carle Hospital, Urbana.
A Memorial service will be held at 2:00 PM, Sunday, May 2, 2010 at the Mackey-Wright Funeral Home. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service. Private family inurnment will follow.
David was born November 1, 1957 in Monticello, the son of James and Mariam (Shurts) Peterson.
Surviving is his daughter Cassandra Peterson of Mattoon, step-daughter Melinda Dunlap of Monticello, brother Robert Peterson of Monticello, sisters; Roberta Lane and JoAnne Tieman both of Lodge and Barbara Crisman of Monticello. David was preceded in death by his parents, 1 brother (James Houston) and 1 Uncle (Paul Peterson).
David was a painter and decorator. He was a member of the Painters Local #363 and enjoyed reading, gardening, and music.
Memorials may be made to Mackey-Wright Funeral Home in c/o David Peterson.
