David A. Clemons

David A. Clemons, 48, of Monticello, passed away at 8:29 a.m., March 8, 2012 at Kirby Medical Center, Monticello.
David was born on April 5, 1963 in Terre Haute, IN, the son of Charles Thomas and Lena (Neibarger) Clemons.
David is survived by his partner of more than 20 years; Patsy Ragle of Monticello and her son Bryan Hjelle-Ragle, his mother; Lena (James) Alsip of Urbana, a sister; Donna Clemons of Urbana, a nephew; Dustin Clemons, and nieces; Diana and Donna Clemons. He was preceded in death by his father.
David loved his dogs and enjoyed fishing.
A visitation will be held from 5:00-7:00 p.m., Monday, March 12, 2012, at the Mackey-Wright Funeral Home, Monticello. A funeral service will immediately follow at 7:00 p.m. with Rev. Danny Roberts officiating.
Memorial may be made to the American Heart Association or the Freedom for Dachshund Fund.
