On Tuesday (Jan. 9th 2024) heaven gained the most loving, caring angel. Cynthia Sue Dawkins passed away in her sleep leaving behind SO MANY people that loved her so much, in her 63 years on this earth.
Cynthia was born January 18th 1960 at St. Elizabeth’s Hospital in Danville, IL. She leaves behind her husband Phil Dawkins of 31 years, who she loved with all her heart. She also leaves behind her children Angela Taylor, Matthew Dawkins, Sarah Dawkins, her grandson Oliver Dawkins who was her little boy! They spent SO much time together. Her mother, Virgina Miller, and her Siblings; Terry Miller, John Miller, Cathy Miller, and Jan Miller. She is welcomed into heaven by her Father, Charles Miller and her best friend Joni Saltsgaver.
She also leaves behind her niece Bailey Gray and nephews; Colton Schopp, Alex Schopp, Andy Schopp, and Sister-In-Law Lois (Dawkins) Stevens, who were all like second family to her.
She was the mother to not only her children but to the MANY other kids she took under her wing, and protected. She loved the color pink, teddy bears and snowmen. She was the caretaker to so many people in her many years, that’s what everyone loved about her. Cynthia will be cremated with no services. A celebration of life will take place; time and date yet to be decided.
