Connie Frick, 95, formerly of Mahomet, died at 4:47pm on August 12, 2025 at Piatt County Nursing Home. There will be a visitation from 3:00-4:00pm on Saturday August 16 at Grace Church in Mahomet. The funeral service will be at 4:00, with Pastor Mike Case officiating.
There will be a second funeral service in her hometown of Tompkinsville, Kentucky at 2:00 on Tuesday August 19 at Indian Creek Baptist Church. The visitation will be one hour prior to the service. Burial will follow at Neil Cemetery in Flippin.
Connie was born on May 3, 1930 in Glasgow, KY, a daughter of Rufus and Ruby (Stephens) Harper. She married Kenneth Turner on February 7, 1946 in Anderson, AL. He died on August 21, 1976. She later married Orville Frick on November 8, 1987 in Rantoul. He died on October 6, 2017.
Survivors include: seven children and step-children; Gary (Gena) Turner of Reno, NV; Kevin (Kathy) Turner of Goosecreek, SC; Cheryl (Greg) Burk of Mahomet; Brenda (Mark) White of Mahomet; Mike (Sharon) Frick of Mahomet; Theresa (Mark) Berry of Mahomet; Steve (Tina) Frick of Mansfield; 15 grandchildren and 28 great-grandchildren; two sisters, Libby Harper of Tompkinsville, KY and Jean Bunch of Edmonton, KY.
She is preceded in death by one brother and one sister.
Connie was a longtime member of Grace Church and volunteered at 10,000 Villages for many years. She also enjoyed playing Bunco with her friends and was a world champion Bingo player.
