Cindy (Cafin) Cote

Cindy Cafin Cote, 70, passed away May 4th, 2026, at Physicians Regional Hospital in Naples, Florida.

Cindy was born July 27, 1955, to Peggy and James Cafin in Monticello, Illinois. Cindy graduated from Monticello High School in 1973. She married Casey Cote on May 3rd, 1986, in Naples, Florida. Together they had a son Tyler Cote in 1991. Cindy was the best mother in the world.

Cindy was employed at Naples Daily News as a graphic designer for 42 years. She retired in 2022.

Cindy is survived by her husband, Casey Cote and son Tyler Cote of Naples, Florida. Parents Peggy and James Cafin, sister Terri Eades of Monticello, brother Brett Cafin of Hammond, Illinois, brother Denis Cafin of Mahomet, Illinois, several nieces, nephews, one great niece, and one great nephew.

Cindy was preceded in death by one brother Rocky Cafin.

There will be a graveside service held at 11:00 a.m., Thursday, June 18, 2026, at the Monticello Township Cemetery.
