Charles Wisehart Obituary

Charles R. Bob Wisehart, 84 of Cisco, passed away at 7:08 PM on Wednesday, September 30, 2009 at Kirby Hospital.
Funeral service will be held at 2:00 PM, Sunday, October 4, 2009 at the Mackey-Wright Funeral Home in Monticello with Rev. Dennis Beedy officiating. Visitation will be held from 4:00-6:00 PM, Saturday, October 3, 2009 at the Mackey-Wright Funeral Home.
Bob was born on July 10, 1925 in Hannibal, MO the son of Franklin Charles and Mamie (Schuck) Wisehart. He married Virginia L. Brocksmith in 1944 in Missouri. She passed away in November of 1970. He married Pauline Floyd in August of 1971 in Monticello.
Surviving is his wife: Pauline Wisehart of Cisco, children: Beverly Joyce Wisehart of Deltona, FL, Bobby Lynn Wisehart of Cisco, Iris Marie (Chuck) Guyot of Bement, Judith (Richard) Peddycoart of Monticello, and James Vannote of Salem, grandchildren: Jerry Jennings, Shawn Wilson, Catherine Wisehart, Adam Wisehart, Brenda Stephens, Dave Guyot, Anthony Vannote, Connie Walsh, Aaron Peddycoart, Jaime Peddycoart, and Brent Peddycoart, great grandchildren: Katelyn, Sydney, Elizabeth, Will, Emily, Rachael, Zackary, Angel, Andrew, Kobe, Maddox, and Channing, also sister: Elsie Phelps of Missouri and daughter-in-law Phyllis Muse of Cisco. He was preceded in death by his parents, wife (Virginia), two sons (Jack and Jeffery Vannote), sister (Edna), and daughter-in-law (Nancy Wisehart).
Bob was a retired mechanic. He served in both the U.S. Army and the U.S. Air Force. While in the Army he served in the Occupational Force in the Philippines and Japan. Bob was a 50 year member of the Craig-Reed American Legion Post #1181 in Cisco and was a member of the Cisco United Methodist Church.
Memorials may be made to Kirby Hospital.
