Carroll L. Sarver

Carroll L. Sarver, 75, of Monticello, passed away at 11:29 P.M. on November 5, 2009 at Provena Hospital in Urbana, IL. Private family services will be held with Mackey-Wright Funeral Home handling the arrangements. Interment will be held in the Monticello Township Cemetery. Carroll was born on October 4, 1934 in Sangamon County, IL. The son of Herbert and Phyllis (May) Sarver. Carroll graduated from Argenta High school in 1952. He married Donna McLean December 7, 1956 in Decatur, Illinois. Surviving is his wife Donna; son Mitchell (Karrimma) Sarver of Phoenix, AZ.; daughter Susan Sarver of Monticello; brothers Don Sarver of Littleton, CO. and Dean Sarver of St. Elmo, IL.; sisters June Fredrickson of Ridgecrest, CA. and Rosemary Conlin of Houston, TX. Carroll was preceded in death by his parents. Carroll retired as a stores supervisor from the University of Illinois. He was a Boy Scout leader for several years and coached junior bowling. Carroll was a member of the First Presbyterian church in Monticello. Memorials may be made to the Piatt County Mental Health Center in lieu of flowers.
