Carolyn Ensign Obituary
Carolyn A. Ensign, 68, of Monticello passed away at 3:23 PM, Tuesday, January 12, 2010 at the Bement Health Care Center, Bement.
Funeral service will be held at 11:00 AM, Monday, January 18, 2010 at the Mackey-Wright Funeral Home. Visitation will be held one hour prior to the service. Interment will be in East Lawn Cemetery, Urbana.
Carolyn was born January 30, 1941 in Champaign, the daughter of Fate and Vercie (Collins) Henderson.
Surviving are her sons; Jeff Ensign of Monticello, Frank Ensign of CA, and Mark Ensign of Bement, 7 grandchildren, and 7 great grandchildren, brothers; Lawrence Henderson of Las Cruces, NM and Charles Henderson of Calexico, CA, sisters; Pearl Crawford of Monticello, Juanita Roy of Tucson, AZ, Margaret Lane of Lodge, Mary Burton and Betty Franklin both of Champaign. Carolyn was preceded in death by her parents, 2 sisters (Dorothy and Barbara), and long time companion Harvey Floyd.
Carolyn was a waitress and enjoyed watching old movies and television shows.
Memorials may be made to the Mackey-Wright Funeral home to assist the family with expenses.
