Carol Feeney Obituary
Carol L. Feeney, 51, of Monticello, passed away at 11:16 AM, Monday, February 2, 2009 at the Piatt County Nursing Home.
Funeral mass will be held at 10:00 AM, Thursday, February 5, 2009 at the St. Philomena Catholic Church 1301 N. Market St. in Monticello with Fr. Bruce Lopez officiating. Visitation will be from 4:00-7:00 PM Wednesday February 4, 2009 at the St. Philomena Catholic Church with a Rosary service at 3:30 PM. Mackey-Wright Funeral Home is handling the arrangements.
Carol was born June 1, 1957 in Monticello the daughter of Robert and Frances (Carey) Plunk. She married Michael Feeney on December 22, 1979 in Ivesdale.
Surviving is her husband: Michael Feeney of Monticello, daughters: Claire Feeney of New York, NY and Kristen Feeney of Cincinnati, OH, son: Kevin Feeney of Monticello, brothers: Robert Plunk of Riverton, Bill Plunk of Maryville, Tom Plunk of Mansfield, Stephen Plunk of Rufus, OR, David Plunk of Mansfield, Joe Plunk of Farmer City, and Greg Plunk of Mansfield, sisters: Margaret DeBord of Peoria, Martha Cox of Chapel Hill, NC, and Mary Beth Hughes of Peoria. Carol was preceded in death by her parents and a brother (Jim Plunk).
Carol was a housewife and a member of the St. Philomena Catholic Church. Carol also volunteered her time at the Ronald McDonald House while in Indianapolis.
Memorials may be made to the Piatt County Nursing Home or Monticello Faith-In-Action.
