Betty Doenitz Obituary
Betty E. "Charlie" Doenitz, 82, of Monticello, passed away on Friday, August 7, 2009 at her residence.
Funeral service will be held at 11:00 AM, Wednesday, August 12, 2009 at the Mackey-Wright Funeral Home in Monticello. Visitation will be from 6:00-9:00 PM, Tuesday, August 11, 2009 at the Mackey-Wright Funeral Home. Interment will be in the Mansfield Cemetery.
Betty was born September 23, 1926 in Bellflower the daughter of Arthur and Irene (Fillenworth) Lange.
Surviving are her son: Larry (Cheryl) Doenitz of Lambertville, MI, daughters: Marcia Gulliford of Champaign, Sue (Randy) Craig of Champaign, Mary (Dave) Deuser of Highland, and Peggy Mills of Philo, sister: Helen Galloway of La Salle, 9 grandchildren: Shelly DeAtley, Robert Gulliford, Jennifer Harper, Amy Perkins, Albert Craig, Scott Deuser, Stacy Emig, Brandon and Anthony Mills, and 11 great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, 4 Brothers and 1 great grandchild.
Betty retired from food service at the Piatt County Nursing Home.
Memorials may be made to the Piatt County Nursing Home.
