Betty Danison Obituary
Betty L. Danison, 87, of Monticello, died at 10:43 AM, Sunday, November 28, 2010 at her residence.
Funeral service will be held at 11:00 AM, Wednesday, December 1, 2010 at the Mackey-Wright Funeral Home with Rev. Dan Seibert officiating. Visitation will be held one hour prior to the service. Interment will be in Monticello Township Cemetery.
Betty was born March 11, 1923 in Piatt County, IL the daughter of Elmer and Elva (Mackey) Ruch. She married Clyde Danison in December of 1946 in Monticello, he passed away in 1983. She then married Roy Snell in December of 1988 in Monticello and he passed away on July 3, 2000.
Surviving is her grandson; Linc (Sherrie) McCullom of Monticello, great granddaughter; Andrea McCullom and step great-grandson; Brandon Vaughn. She was preceded in death by her parents, husbands, daughter (Karen McCullom), 1 granddaughter and 1 brother.
Betty helped farm and was a member of the Monticello United Methodist Church, the exercise club at the church, and the Piatt County Farm Bureau. She enjoyed her daily morning walks.
Memorials may be made to the Monticello United Methodist Church.
