Bernard Lee Butch Ward, age 64, of Louisville, formerly of Monticello, passed away Tuesday, July 31, 2007, in Strasburg.
Memorial service will be held at 5:00 P.M., Saturday, August 4, 2007 at the Nazarene Church in Monticello with Rev. John Francis officiating. Visitation will be 3:00-5:00 PM, Saturday, August 4, 2007 at the Nazarene Church.
Mr. Ward was born November 11, 1942 in Bloomington, the son of Charlie and Goldie (Holler) Ward. He married Wilma Rowcliff on September 21, 1996 in Monticello.
She survives.
Also surviving are his sons: Jeff (Penny) Whitehouse of Centralia and Jason (Minde) Whitehouse of Edgewood, daughter: Crystal (David) Anderson of Farina, grandchildren: Kellie, Meagan, Marcus, Bridgett, Trevor, and Blake, brother: Francis Gene (Bev) Ward of Gibson City, sisters: Pauline (Troy) Shumard of Gladstone, MI and Gail (Max) Heacock of Monticello, mother-in-law: Hazel Rowcliff of Louisville, brother-in-law: Kenneth Morris of Monticello.
He was preceded in death by his grandparents, parents, and 2 sisters.
Mr. Ward was a truck driver.
