Barbara Dresback Obituary
Barbara June Dresback, age 80 of Monticello, passed away Wednesday, March 21, 2007, at Piatt County Nursing Home Monticello, Illinois.
Visitation will be held Friday, March 23, 2007 from 6:00 8:00 P.M. at the Mackey-Wright Funeral Home in Monticello Illinois. Funeral Service will held at the Mackey-Wright Funeral Home Saturday, March 24, 2007 at 11:30 A.M. with visitation 1 hour before the service. Burial will at Grandview Memorial Gardens in Champaign, Illinois at 1:00 P.M.
Mrs. Dresback was born June 22, 1926 in Seymour Illinois, the daughter of Olen and Maybel (Robinson) Surber. She married Roy L. Dresback on September 28, 1951 in Monticello, Illinois.
Surviving are her Daughters: Linda McCarthy of Champaign IL., and Nancy Dresback of Frederick, MD. 2 Grandchildren Kristopher and wife Tricia McCarthy of Chicago, IL. and, Kymberly McCarthy of Champaign, IL. 3 Brothers Alfred Surber of San Antonio, TX., Raymond Surber of Moline, IL. and Robert Surber of Rantoul, IL. 5 Sisters Mary Rittenhouse of Ocala, FL., Laura Wood of Cisco, IL., Irene Burton of Monticello,IL., Crystal Acancious of Las Vegas, NV. And Pasty Prunty of Moline, IL.
She was preceded in death by her Parents, Husband, and 2 Sisters.
Mrs. Dresback was a housewife and worked for Collegiate Cap & Gown of Champaign, IL.
Mrs. Dresback was a member of the Monticello United Methodist Church, in Monticello, Illinois.
Memorials can be made to the American Cancer Association or the Alzheimers Association.
