Arthur G. Warren

Arthur G. Warren, 76, of Monticello, passed away at 1:10 PM, Tuesday, August 3, 2010 at his residence.
Funeral service will be held at 10:00 AM, Saturday, August 7, 2010 at St. Philomena Catholic Church in Monticello with Fr. Bruce Lopez officiating. Visitation will be from 6:00-8:00 PM Friday, August 6, 2010 at the Mackey-Wright Funeral Home with a rosary service at 8:00 PM. Interment will be in Monticello Township Cemetery.
Arthur was born December 25, 1933 in Pittsburgh, PA, the son of Arthur B. and Grace (Rogner) Warren. He married Barbara A. Rebholz on September 2, 1957 in Pittsburgh, PA. She passed away March 7, 1995.
Surviving are his children; Art (Cindy) Warren of Champaign, Mary M. (Bob) Brown of Monticello, Jim (Margie) Warren of Monticello, Andy (Penny) Warren of Bement, Mary E. Bucey of Champaign, and John (Ana)Warren of Ponte Vedra Beach, FL, 13 grandchildren; Bobby Brown, Halie Ewald, Chad Warren, Valeri Warren, Michael Warren, Olivia Warren, Hannah Warren, Joshua Warren, Matthew Warren, Sam Warren, Max Warren, Jonathan Warren, and Leila Warren. Arthur was preceded in death by his parents, wife, 1 brother (Don), and 1 sister (Ruth).
Arthur retired as manager and president of C.S. Johnson in Champaign. Arthur served in the U.S. Army. He was a member of the St. Philomena Catholic Church of Monticello, and he enjoyed woodworking, fishing, and doing his own home improvements.
In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to the C-U Dialysis or the St. Judes Hospital.
