Arnold E. Bogue Musick, age 79 of Kimberling City, MO, formerly of Monticello, passed away Monday, October 15, 2007.
Funeral services will be held at 10:30 A.M., Friday, October 19, 2007 at the Mackey-Wright Funeral Home with Rev. Jim Dalrymple officiating. Visitation will be 6:00-8:00 P.M., Thursday, October 18, 2007 at the Mackey-Wright Funeral Home. Interment will be at the Monticello Township Cemetery with Military Graveside Rites.
Arnold was born May 6, 1928 in White Heath, IL, the son of William Thomas and Clara Etta (Biesecker) Musick. He married Mildred Haines on February 4, 1951 in Monticello. She survives.
Also surviving is his son: Ralph (Dianne) Musick of Assumption, daughters: Gwen (Dennis) Campbell, Brenda (Earl) Williams and Cheri (David) Mayer all of Monticello, and Melody (David) McDaniel of Mahomet, 9 grandchildren and 5 step grandchildren, 16 great grandchildren and 8 step great grandchildren, and 1 step great great grandchild.
He was preceded in death by his parents, 4 brothers and 2 sisters.
Arnold was a retired Pulp Operator at General Cable after 35 years of service. He also worked on the chain gang for Monticello football games for 25 years. He served in the U.S. Army during the Korean War and was a member of the Hamm-Burke American Legion Post #101 of Monticello.
