Anna Clough

Anna Mae 'Ann' Clough (nee Elliott), 91, of Urbana, Illinois, passed peacefully on August 16, 2025.

Born in Des Moines, Iowa to Lucille and Lisle Elliott, Ann was a loved and loving mother, grandmother, baker, and quilter.

Ann's love for different cultures drew her to befriend and appreciate many people from around the world, eager to help them feel at home in hers. 

She is survived by her daughter, Gay; three grandchildren and two great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, Douglas Clough; son, Bruce Clough and sisters, Helen Rote and Marilyn Breese. 

Funeral and burial will be on Saturday, August 23 11:00 am at Eastlawn Burial Park, Urbana, Illinois. Refreshments at Baha’i Center in Urbana immediately following.
