Angela White Obituary
Angela M. Angie White, 48, of Monticello, passed away Tuesday, February 24, 2009 at Barnes Jewish Hospital in St. Louis, MO.
Funeral mass will be held at 1:00 PM, Saturday, February 28, 2009 at the St. Philomena Catholic Church 1301 N. Market St. in Monticello with Fr. Bruce Lopez officiating. Visitation will be from 4:00-7:00 PM Friday February 27, 2009 at the Mackey-Wright Funeral Home with a Rosary service at 7:00 PM. Interment will be in St. Joseph Catholic Cemetery in Ivesdale.
Angie was born December 17, 1960 in Terre Haute, IN the daughter of Arnold Vincent and Yhoanna (Aulinger) Cooper. She married James F. White on November 8, 1980 in Ivesdale.
Surviving is her husband: Jim White of Monticello, son: Daniel (Erin) White of Ivesdale, parents: Arnold and Yhoanna Cooper of Monticello, brothers: Roland (Debbie) Cooper of Monticello and Greg (Valerie) Cooper of Le Roy. Angie was preceded in death by her grandparents.
Angie was an Administrative Clerk at the University of Illinois in the CITES Department. She was a member of the St. Philomena Catholic Church, was active with the Champaign County Humane Society and very close to her family.
Memorials may be made to the Champaign County Humane Society or American Cancer Society.
