Alice Barnett Obituary
Alice L. Barnett, age 79 of Monticello, died Friday, March 2, 2007, at Kirby Hospital in Monticello, Illinois.
Funeral service will be held at 10:00 A.M, Tuesday, March 6, 2007 at the Mackey-Wright Funeral Home in Monticello, Illinois with the Pastor Jerry Parmley officiating. Visitation will be from 6:00 to 9:00 P.M. Monday, March 5, 2007at the Mackey-Wright Funeral Home. Interment will be held at Mansfield Cemetery in Mansfield, Illinois.
Memorials contributions may be made to the Piatt County Nursing Home or the Calvary Baptist Church of Monticello, Illinois.
Mrs. Barnett was born December 7, 1927 in Mansfield, Illinois the daughter of William and Ora (Perry) Byrd. She married Elvie Custer Barnett on January 18, 1949 in Champaign, Illinois.
Surviving are her Son: Robert Barnett of Dandridge, TN. Daughter Linda Barnett of Cisco, Illinois, 3 Grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her Parents, Husband, 1 Grandson, 6 Brothers, and 2 Sisters.
Mrs. Barnett was in the food service industry for 35 years for Piatt County Nursing Home.
