Myrna Lee Beals

Myrna Lee Beals, 73, died at 12:48 a.m. Jan. 20, 2018, at her home in Urbana.

There will be a graveside funeral service at 11:30 a.m. Wednesday, Jan. 24, at Grandview Memorial Gardens in Champaign. Mr. Roger Beals will officiate.

Myrna was born on Aug. 2, 1944, in Urbana, a daughter of Edward and Marceline (Durbin) Lamb. She married Dale Beals on June 15, 1962.

Survivors include: Three children, Vicki (Jeff) Millsap, Anthony (Julia) Beals and Christa (Tim) Martin; grandchildren, Jessica Beals, Hayley Sims (Beals), Jeffrey Millsap and Kay Lee Millsap; and great-grandson, Baeden Millsap-Moore. She is also survived by her friend and companion, Randy Moreman; and her three stepgransons, Michael, Jalen and Noah Kritzer.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Dale; her son, Dale (Eddy); sister, Norman Hartrick; brother, Ralph Lamb; and an infant brother, Clyde.

Myrna worked at Herff-Jones Cap & Gown, where she was a gown inspector, retiring in 2006. She enjoyed reading books, watching British comedies and spending time with friends and family.
