Michelle Vargas

Michelle Jane Vargas, 42,  passed away on the morning of Wednesday, June 19, 2019 at Carle Foundation Hospital, Urbana.

There will be a visitation at Owens Funeral Home, 101 N. Elm St, Champaign, on Wednesday, June 26, from 10-12. The funeral service will begin at 12, at the funeral home, with Rev. Danny Schaffner officiating. Burial will immediately follow at Woodlawn Cemetery, Urbana.

Michelle was born on March 1, 1977 in the Philippines to Randall H. Taylor and Julieta Sayson. She married Ramon Vargas, Jr. in California in 1998. 

Survivors include her husband Ramon; her parents Randy (Julie), and Julieta; siblings, David Taylor (Lorena), Judy Taylor (Cam), James Taylor (Laurie), Scott Taylor and Mackenzie Eldridge (Becky). 

She is preceded in death by her son Michael Ramon Vargas, step-brother Chad Eldridge, and grandfather Hollis Taylor.

Michelle loved her job as a Pharmacy Technician and worked for CVS for over 20 years. She also enjoyed camping, fishing, road trips/traveling and spending time with her family. She was a fun and loving aunt to her nieces and nephews.
