Matthew Walker Obituary

It is with great sadness that the family of Matthew B. Walker announces his passing after a brief illness, on Saturday, May 12, 2018, at the age of 59 years. Matt will be lovingly remember by his Mother, Betty M. Walker, his brothers Paul (Judy Zieger) and David and sister, Jaqi (John) TerHAAR as well as close friend, Roxy Drews.

Matt graduated from Champaign Central High School in 1977. He trained to be a professional chef and worked in that capacity at a variety of venues over the years.

The family will hold a private service for Matt. Memorial donations in memory of Matt may be made to Carle Hospital, Nurse Examplars Program by donating to Carle.org/give/donate. Select other for gift description and type in Nurse Examplars Program.
