Hayden E Ade

MAHOMET - Hayden Ade, 23, of Mahomet, IL passed away Friday, March 29, 2019. Family and friends may gather to remember Hayden on Tuesday, April 2, 2019, from 3-6 p.m. at The Lutheran Church of Mahomet, 410 E Andover, Mahomet. A private family service will be held at a later date.

Hayden was born Nov. 7, 1995, in Mattoon, IL, the son of Nelson Ade and Amie (Vance) Ade. He graduated in 2014 from Mahomet-Seymour HIgh School. He attended the University of Missouri, Parkland College, and eventually became a flooring specialist. He was a member of The Lutheran Church of Mahomet. 

Hayden lived all of his 23 years to the fullest. He was smart and witty with a zany sense of humor and could light up the room with his jokes and laughter. He loved all University of Illinois sports, Bears football, the White Sox, and especially being part of the Mahomet-Seymour Wrestling Team. “Mr. Encyclopedia,” as he was sometimes called, could recite up-to-date stats on his favorite teams. 

Twenty-three years wasn’t long enough for all Hayden had to offer his friends and family. 

He is survived by his father, Nelson; step-mother, Christina; brother, Payton; and sisters, Madison, all of Mahomet, and Hali Roderick of Columbus, Ohio. 

Grandparents are Jan and Fred Vance of Humboldt, Vickie and Curt Gibson of Arthur, and Sue and Larry Ade of Pana. Great-grandmother is Delilah England of Arthur. 

And many aunts, uncles, cousins, and a vast number friends who loved him like family.

Hayden was preceded in death by his mother, Amie Ade, in 2014.
