E. Marie Ennen

E. Marie Ennen, 93, of Champaign passed away Tuesday, Dec. 5, 2017, at Presence Covenant Medical Center, Champaign.

Services will be private. There will be no visitation. Interment will be in Grandview Memorial Gardens, Champaign. Owens Funeral Home is assisting the family with arrangements.

Marie was born June 4, 1924, in Champaign, a daughter to Abe and Ulda Mosier Ray. She married Orville Ennen on March 2, 1946, in Buckley. He preceded her in death on Feb. 1, 2001.

Surviving are two daughters, Donna (John) Noonan of Bloomington and Sharon (David) Woodbury of Clermont, Fla.; two sons, Tom (Brenda) of Champaign and Don (Kathy) of Southport, N.C.; six grandchildren, 15 great-grandchildren and two great-great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by five brothers and a sister.

Marie previously was an active volunteer at Champaign County Nursing and at her church, St. John’s Lutheran, Champaign.

In lieu of other expressions of sympathy, memorials may be made to Trinity Lutheran Church, Bloomington, or the American Heart Association.
