Charles L. Brooks, 85, died at 10:35am on April 3, 2019 at Champaign Living Center.

Charles was born on May 23, 1933 to Charles and Alleen (Towner) Brooks in Danville, Illinois, Chuck was a decades-long employee of Clark Oil and Black & Co. He enjoyed traveling, fishing, and was an avid fan of the Cubs and the Fighting Illini. Chuck will be greatly missed by his long term partner, Barbara Cannon, grandchildren (Steven, Alexandra, Andrea, and Bekah), his loving family and the many close friends he considered his family.

In accordance with family wishes, he will be cremated and a celebration of life is being planned for early summer.
