Beverly Jo D'Urso

Beverly Jo D'Urso passed away on Tuesday, March 6, 2018, at home with her family.

Beverly was born on March 20, 1947 in Decatur, a daughter of Mary and Dean McCann. She graduated from Eisenhower High School in 1965. She then moved to Champaign to work as a dietitian at Burnham Hospital.

Beverly married James D'Urso in 1972. After the birth of their son, Vincent, she was very involved with school activities at Holy Cross and youth hockey with the Champaign Chief's, as a team rep.

She is survived by her husband, James D'Urso; along with their son, Vincent and his wife, Maggie.

There will be a visitation on Monday, March 12 at Owens Funeral Home (101 N. Elm St, Champaign) from 5-7 pm followed by a short service at 7:00.

In lieu of other expressions of sympathy, the family requests that memorial contributions be made to The Cancer Research Institute (www.cancerresearch.org).
