Chester Lohmeyer Obituary

Chester I. Lohmeyer, 80, of Denver, Colorado, passed away at home on Thursday, April 18, 2024.

Chester was born on January 27, 1944, in Urbana, Illinois, to Iver O. and Mary (Miner) Lohmeyer. He attended Champaign High School with the class of 1962. Chester served in the United States Army from 1962 to 1966 and was stationed in Germany during the last three years of service.

Chester is survived by a brother, Carl Lohmeyer (Judy), and three sisters: Nancy Williams (Tom), Linda Seaman (Bill), and Martha Pietrobono. He was preceded in death by his parents and a brother, David.

Chester became a Christian at an early age and was faithful until his passing. Throughout his life, Chester kept his Bible near and read it daily, taking great comfort in knowing that his final resting place would be with God.

Service will be held at a later date.
